WRITING
  • Encourage your baby to pick up crackers or peas, touch noses and toes, point to pictures and grab toys. The muscles in those little hands will grow strong and be ready to turn pages!

  • Babies explore the process of writing when they make a mess while eating. This both feels good and helps build coordination in hands and fingers.

  • Tearing pieces of paper is something that all young children love to do. It is a fun and silly way for your child to develop the muscles in their fingers and hands.

  • Fill the bathtub with squeeze toys, sponges, and a wash cloth. Help your child squeeze each one, which will strengthen her hand muscles!
