Babies like to explore! Give your baby some safe objects such as measuring cups and empty boxes.

Continue to play peek-a-boo. Encourage your older baby to “hide” using a napkin or his hands. Let him hide behind a door or furniture and surprise you.

Older babies love water play. Fill a shallow container with water. Give your baby some small cups, spoons, sponges. Sit with your baby as she plays. This is a great outdoor activity in warm weather.
